Welcome from Las Vegas! I lived in Alaska for over 30 years; my wife and I moved down here to the smaller 48 in 2007. While most of my AK tenure was in Anchorage, I did some time in Delta Junction (Ft. Greely actually...Army brat), Ketchikan and Kodiak. We took many a summer camping trip into the interior, though. We really enjoyed our times in Fairbanks.

I've always enjoyed the Delta area, and still have yet to check Kodiak off my list of places to go up here ( but its only been 25 years, LOL).
