I've had some bad experiences smoking in too much wind. But, then again, certain sticks that burn particularly well just seem to power right through, no problems at all. My go to "windy smoke" is a San Lotano Oval. Burns brilliantly even in the hurricanes. I was wondering if the brotherhood had any thoughts on sticks that still perform well, despite harsh wind. What's your "windy smoke?"

When i smoke when driving I've had good luck with AB Black markets. Undercrowns have been the worst so far. Single cab truck so its pretty windy in there with the windows down

Have yet to find one; just pack a good lighter when its a little windy
Always. What lighter do you use? I have heard good things about the ronson lighters; cheap, light every time, super durable, etc.

Also, good suggestions on the windy smokes- nubs sound like a great option now that you all mention it. Just to piggyback on that topic, anyone do anything special, or choose certain sticks when smoking in different temperatures? Cold weather seems to do funny things with wrapper burn just as wind does.

Just crack the drivers window an inch or less, don't roll them both down. I smoke in my truck ALL the time. Undercrowns and ligas are great for driving smokes-they can stay lit during a fuel stop.

That said, I just don't open the windows as far if it's too windy. Never really changed up my smokes for any weather event.
