Hi all,

My Name is Jake and I'm from Iowa. I have enjoyed smoking cigars for a while but never seriously. I'll have one out on the golf course, on vacation, or while lounging around with friends. I have done what what I thought to be an ok amount of looking around and ordered a small humidor and have been looking for a few good samplers to start my long and wonderful voyage. Thats when I came upon this forum and saw postings about kitty litter. Not to immediately stir the pot, but I was drawn to it and I wanted to learn more. So here I am. I can't say I will have a lot to offer as far as cigar knowledge, but I look forward to getting to know you all.

I was working all day today or i would have posted sooner.
Ecks...I live in Ames. I am headed out to tailgate at 5:30am tomorrow at Jack Trice Stadium...Iowa State vs Oklahoma.
Thinking i might smoke my breakfast....

Nice. I know the area, but I'm more of a hawkeyes fan then cyclones fan My wife went to UNI so she's panthers all the way. Enjoy man!

My daughter went to I-state so I've spent a lot of time in Ames myself. I have my fair share of Cylcone gear (Christmas and birthday presents) and still Rock the Iowa State cling sticker on my car. I always enjoyed my time there and have had more than my share of meals at Hickory Park. :smile:

My daughter lives in Des Moines now (works in the Waukee school district) so I get down that way whenever I can. We'll have to get together for a smoke sometime!

bdrupe..I'd be up for it. although I State took one on the chin today against #12 Sooners it was an awesome day to be at the game. After living in Ames for 11 years HP (hickory park) is still one of the best places to eat. Fun fact off their menu I read the other day...they serve 23,000lbs of meat a month.........
