You don't realy need the cedar. If you fill it with boxes then you have all the cedar that you need. I started with an acumonitor, but it tended to bleed humidity from the bottles, so I have switched over to beads. Have never had a problem. Pictures in the link in the signature. Haha, I hope so. The only part I am struggling with so far is finding a local lumber place that sells Spanish cedar.

Gotta love old fridges! I'm turning one into a smoker, a buddy turned one into a kegerator, now a humidor!

Using the wire shelves for now. Didn't get the cedar for the doors yet either. Having a bit of a hard time getting the humidity to 65-68 where I would like it. Staying steady at 63.

I also plan on putting in some fans to keep the air circulating.

Glad to see this coming along. What a great way to store boxes! Interested to see what you come up with to stabilize your rh and temp.
