Price of the baitfish!

My B&M just got these in, and guess what? 35.00 for five of them! Is it just me or is that too much for this cigar? Worth trying at that price?

I'm thinking I'll just skip em. I can pay less and get reinado or tatuaje, or spring a few bucks more and get a principe.

The price is about the only thing I don't like about this cigar. That's the same price that my local charges for them. You can find them online for a little cheaper.

Keep checking them out. Rumor has it that now that its not a NHC exclusive DE is working on lowering the price now that they can make larger quantities.

They hit Monster once at $19 shipped for a fiver. I missed out by seconds. At $4ea, they're great.

Personally, the PCR is better, and cheaper. But the PCR is a steal. The Baitfish at $6-7 isn't a steal, but it's still priced fairly for what you get, and is nice for variety.

One of my locals had them at $45 for the 5er, and had 6 packs available. I looked at him and told him he's nuts. I moved to something else and don't bother w/ that B/M anymore since they overprice everything.

My local carries them for 31 bux. I know they are cheaper online, but I like to support my local guy. At a time when businesses were closing up shop, he was opening one. I respect that and he is very knowledgable when I have questions.

Price is the primary thing that has kept me away from the baitfish (although I was just gifted one.. and am really excited about trying it)...

Im sure its a great cigar.. I am a fan of just about everything I have tried from DE.. and price normally doesnt drive much of the decision making process for me...

but for $1 more, I can get an undercrown corona viva (or a lot of other things)..

or for $1 less, I can get a hemi short story (or a variety of other short smokes)...

both of which I am big fans of..

too many other options that are really good short smokes at cheaper prices.. and too many other excellent options in larger sizes for the same money or only slightly more....
