OOOOOH, new one? how is?

It's a stick that was sold to my b&m here in Illinois only. From talking to the purchaser they were tobaccos from 2008 and they had no imperfections other than Carillo did not feel they were dark enough wrappers for the sticks he was working on, that's about all the info I have. The store has 25+ locations with some pretty decent buying power so they bought all the stock from him. Now coming from a total newb the construction was very good, had them about three months, first one smoked a bit harsh, but they mellowed out a lot and now have some spice on the front and a predominant coffee bean flavor throughout. I've liked it more and more after every one I've smoked.

It is the 2009 ep carrillo that had a darker wrapper than they wanted. They smoke great for a 5 or 6 dollar cigar.

Last night was my first Gurkha, a Grand Reserve, the cognac infused 7 1/2 x 52 monster. was ok, smooth and creamy, but the flavour didnt change much through the stick, took a bit over 2 hours. was ok, ive ticked the gurkha box now, not keen to go there again soon.

JLP cazadore my first one very mild but a good smoke at 2 a piece for when your wanting something more on the milder side with ok favors at a budget price with some CC mini twang haha

Last night I had my first room 101 cigar. It was a San Andres 305, it was different than what I was expecting but it was delicious! Starting out on the milder side of medium and finishing on the fuller side of medium/lighter side of full. I didn't have time to nub it but surely would have if I had more time. Now what to smoke today???
