I'm at a local shop now enjoying a LP9 and I saw 8 FFP resting on the shelf. I've got time to think about it but that almost seems like robbery. Given the scarcity, maybe it's a steal now.

No, I wouldn't pay that for a FFP. That is almost a 50% markup for a cigar that is still in production(although it is a limited production).

I've always found them for 15-16 online and the one I picked up at a B&M yesterday was 18.

agree with Craig on that one..

I love just about everything in the LP line..

but at $23.. there are other things on my hit list...

not to mention, while you may have to do a little searching.. and be patient... you can still get FFP's around the $16 price point for individual sticks..

personally.. I'd wait.... and buy an FFP and add an undercrown or two in for good measure...

I was leaning very far towards no but I figured I'd ask since I'm here. I think I might like Undercrown better than the 9 and 52 so I guess I answered my own question.

dude, never pay more than you are comfortable for ANY cigar. if you want it and can justify the enjoyment versus cash out of pocket, cool, even if it is (well) over MSRP. the fact that you asked here means you already had this down anyway, though. o)

also, look at some of their other stuff. if they are that high on the rest, give them a miss next time.

Its a damn good smoke but not for that price. Try to haggle the guy down a little, i doubt they're flying off the shelf for that price.

Pretty much the going price in Minnesota due to high tobacco taxes (70% I think). This is the reason that I buy most of my stuff online or from other brothers here. It's certainly a good thing to support your local B&M but at some point it becomes outrageous.

No. They pop up here and there online for around $15. Keep an eye out on the cigar deals thread, usually someone will post if they find them available somewhere.

If I hadn't had one and wanted to try it, support a B&M, sure, why not? If I liked it and wanted more, I'd find a cheaper source.
