Lol. You guys are to funny! These are 100% grade A Longfiller Cohiba Behikes from a LCDH
$18 52's
$24 54's
$27 56's

Sounds like y'all need better sources!
There are a few here "IN THE KNOW" that will back my claims!
I can confirm these prices. Behikes started out at $30 per stick but as demand for them dwindles and they are no longer the "new" hot item anymore their price goes down. The Piramides extra has basically taken it's place as the hot new expensive 10 count box item.
Word...

And people stop PMing me for sources.. Pretty sure that's against the rules!

One other thing.. Not to be a Richard.. But sometimes sources are kept private for a reason.. The more people that know about a source the quicker the source will sell out. Which means there is less of a chance of getting the cigars I want.

It's a really tough spot to be in to be honest, because KcJason does make a legitimate point. I don't want the whole world knowing where I get my cigars from because then there is more demand for my vendor which will increase prices and make stock deplete faster. But a bunch of people can attest, if they send me a PM about ISOM's I am very helpful and provide a lot of information, however I have only shared the sources KcJason speaks of with 1 person who has become what I consider a personal friend.

I can personally attest to your "helpfulness", Dave. I really do get what both of you are saying, but why post in a "public" thread about $18 Behike's at all & then wonder why guys are inquiring about them?

BOTL is about brotherhood, sharing & camaraderie to me first & foremost. Everything else is secondary in my book. It is what it is though...

Just stating you can get a flagship habano for less than an over priced FFP.. FFP are great cigars... And rightfully worth $15 cigar... But $23 is way too much! I'll take take the Behike any day over that price!

If the whole world knows about your source and starts buying there, the rest of the places selling them at $30/stick will be forced to lower prices.

I don't know, I understand wanting to pay the lowest prices, and I understand why it's bad etiquette to ask around for sources especially when you're new to the board, but if I knew of a dynamite source for any particular cigar and a contributing member of the board wanted to know about it, I'd have no problem telling them. That's the entire spirit of the cigar deals thread, even though those sources are obviously more public knowledge.

I'm in the minority for sure, but I might buy it. Depends on how bad I wanted it. The longer I sat there, the more likely I'd be to buy one cause it'd gnaw away in the back of my mind how much I like 'em and it'd get to working at me. But like everyone else has been saying that's marked up quite a bit. Sure they can be had online cheaper and even at some other B&M's cheaper. However, if I saw one and it really struck my fancy and I wanted to smoke one, but didn't have one with me...yeah I'd seriously consider it.

Yeah, that a good point.. It might stare at you while you smoking at the lounge. Lol. I am a total cigar whore so I could see how it might taunt you.

I won't pay that much for ANY cigar. Ten bucks is my limit and only at a B&M, I don't care how good they're supposed to be.

Not never! I paid 16 foe one and regretted it. Too many better smokes for half the price. Just wait till the next new gimmic cigar is produced and get it at MSRP.

Had I read this a month ago, I'd have answered, "No way." But funny thing....I was away on a business trip and found myself in a very nice B&M last month. Great selection, friendly, helpful staff...you know the type. I'd never had an FFP and the proprietor pulled a box out from behind the counter with $23 price tags. I was standing there, flush with per diem, so I didn't hesitate. I wouldn't have added it to order in any online shopping transaction, but from a good B&M, surrounded by good BOTL to enhance the experience.....well the OP question elicits different responses even from me.....lol, 'It depends'.

It is on the high side but then again it may be in line with what it should be charged depending on state cigar taxes. I would bet it wouldnt be too far off if it was sold in a high tax state like New York.
Bruddah Fia, NY is a little over double what IL is, IL recently increased from 18 to 36% their tax on premium cigars. NY is 75%. Michigan recently capped their tax at 50 cents a cigar, this cap affects the tax on all cigars that retail at msrp $3.15 and higher. This was an effort by several of the cigar shop owners in the state to come together, form an organization, raise money, and defeat the tax.

State taxes drive the cost difference. The cost looks worse on on more expensive cigars. If you pick up 2 undercrown belicosos, or 3 JDN dark corojo peligrosos, where the price is comparable to that 1 FFP, you will most likely see similar cost and the brick and mortar isn't overcharging on 1 HTF cigar.

The only way is for several shops in a state to put their competition aside for one common goal that would better the business in the entire state.
