Whenever I smoke a cigar rott I try not to judge it, just enjoy it, and I really enjoyed this one. Smoked like a liga, tasted like a liga, and only like a 45 min smoke

The 85th maddy is ick too. The Family Reserve Torpedos and maybe the 45ths (both hit or miss) are the way to go. I'm losing faith in Padron though. You spend $20+ for a premier stick, but maybe 50% of your sticks live up to expectations. The ones that do are truly epic...but you still have to smoke some duds to figure it out.

The Padron 80yrs Maddy I'm smoking right now is a prime example. Got the box last year 20% off on XMas sale, which is the only reason I jumped. Out of the 7 I've smoked, 2 have been epic, the rest so-so to just plain bad.

Family Reserve has shown better luck for me. I'd say 75% of the torpedos have been tits, the rest were yard gars.
