you're right, it's not thermoelectric, but I've heard of a few people that use that model for their wineador and they have all been happy (I looked into it when I was buying mine and came very close to getting that one). Forrest from wineadors.com even makes drawers and shelfs for that specific unit. You just might have to use some more beads or humidity packs than you would've with a thermo, but i doubt you will have any issues.

Yeah I'm thinking temperature shouldn't be a huge issue. But maybe if I on;y have to run it once every so often, then I should be fine..
