I've had a few lanceros and they were superb! As a result, I've been stockpiling and aging lanceros to start smoking in the summer of 2013...It's getting hard to wait on some!

My twitter handle is CaptLancero, safe to say I am indeed a lancero whore. Cien Anos lancero, 107 lancero, Serie V lancero, and Antano lancero are delish!
Yeah, this guy pretty much converted me to lanceros. Used to be mostly a robusto guy, but now I'm almost exclusively a small RG smoker

Smallbatchcigar.com has a box of El Triunfador Lanceros for $206. I don't know much about this cigar whether if it's even hard to find or if that's an outrageous price but I know a bunch of guys love this stick so figured I'd throw it out

Regular production cigar and can be found at Emerson's Cigars(site sponsor) for a few bucks less.

Okay. I've only had an OB truinfador lancero and I must say I loved it. After reading through this entire thread I'm on the lookout for more!

opus PL and OR el triunfador, anyone?
The Opus X Petite Lancero is amazing with age. I've been known to smoke a few original blend and original release El Triunfadors. Here are a few that I would add to the list:
Trinidad Fundadore (only had with age)
Montecristo Especiale (thanks to a brother recently, with some age)
Nestor Miranda Special Selection Lancero, habano (haven't had one of these in long time, but I remember really liking them to the point where I smoked a box over a short period)
Tatuaje Black Petite Lancero Prerelease with shaggy foot
Tatuaje Especiales (with a few years of age)

I'm probably missing a few...
Why the shaggy foot? is there that much of a difference between that on and the regular release?

No Casa Fuente Lancero on ur list? Not a fan?
Not everyone is fan of these... blasphemy, I know. I have to go to Vegas for work on occasion and pick these up just to gift to folks, to be honest.
I still have the one you hit me with...Thanks again brudda!

Just got a 5 pack of L40s yesterday. Very excited, but they will rest for a while.
YUM! Jealous
Have yet to find this elusive stick...Dangit all!

Eh, not really. After you factor in shipping you're paying over $15 a stick. If you're not ordering anything else that is.
when Halfwheel did their redux review of the l40 in march 2012, they listed MSRP at 12.95. IMO can't expect a retailer to charge less than MSRP, and like was said, I think MSRP was even raised a dollar, so good price. cost of shipping is a different issue, part of the price of shopping online

Can't really factor shipping into it; local taxes (even just sales tax) in most places throw it way over. A local of mine had them for a while because they where charging close to 14 before a 36% tax and then an almost 9% sales tax. They used to retail for 12.95$ per, but I'm almost positive (craigmac chime in for me here?) they went up almost a dollar in the 13+ range for retail price without any taxes in the last year.

I do think you're right. To me it's not that they aren't charging a fair price per stick. And you're also right adding shipping in isn't techincally fair. It's just a personal worth thing. Just buying those two sticks and taking a $6 shipping charge makes in unattractive to me personally.
