El Centurion Re-Release in 2013

Janny Garcia and Jose Ortega were on the show talking about the Flor de las Antillas #1 ranking from CA.

Agree, love the original El Centurion, just hope the second coming is as good as the first....

I agree. They said they were using the exact same tobaccos as the original blend.

QQ as I don't think I ever had the El Centurion - isn't the blend the same as the My Father S (which I thought was horrid)?

It is my understanding that they are not the same.... Like the band, similar, but noticeably different.... I have never smoked a MF "S" Special Robusto, so cannot comment on how close they actually are. I have smoked through(with a few given away/bombed) a little over half a box of El Centurion Guerreros and LOVE them.

I was lucky enough to get a whole box of the El Centurions. I've hoarded my last few and I'm down to my last one. Reluctant to smoke it, but it'll get torched soon enough.

so, has anyone talked numbers on this release? i mean, are they going to put out enough to be reasonable, or is it going to be act one from "willy wonka and the chocolate factory"? this release seems to be pepin's golden ticket, and i am sure many of us do not want to be left holding the snozberries.

Great news! I still have around a dozen or so of the OR. Along with the Padilla 8&11, this cigar has aged phenomenally well.
