Basically you drink a beer (cans are ideal but I have see bottles used) once you finish with your second beer you tape them together, subsequently making a wizard staff. The person with the biggest staff has bagging rights. There are more rules involving shotgunning beers at certain intervals etc. here is a link with more detailed rules.

Oh how I love me some Edward 40-hands, great game to play on a boring weekday afternoon too. Once we had about 20 of us playing it and they ran out of 40s at the corner store so we had to use tallys on a few people. Edward 5tallboy-hands is the equivalent if anybody else gets stuck in that situation. Just make sure you dont crack more than one at a time per hand, it gets messy.

Campari
Yellow Chartreuse
Dry Vermouth
Sweet Vermouth
Orange bitters
Blue Coat gin

I just sort of pour what I think are appropriate ratios, add some fresh squeezed lemon and go. It's bitter and herbal but damn it's a good drink. I'm on my second double (maybe a triple really).
