Avallo Humidors is still around. I think RonC is working on some other projects and is not as involved with Avallo as he used to be. Call Avallo at 1-800-840-5324. Matt is the guy there. He should be able to hook you up. I don't know where else to get the wicks.

If your looking for RonC then don't hold your breathe. Matt is super top notch and hooked me up from start to finish to include sending me extra wicks, he builds the things anyway. I don't even know why Ron's name is associated with the board anyway.

Not sure why you felt the need to attack Ron?!? He's associated with BOTL is because he's supported it from the very beginning. I talked to him several days ago and he recently moved and wants to get his inventory set back up before taking any new orders.

I offered that Ron was less involved with Avallo now, because that's what he told me last year when I wrote him to get an order for an Avallo going. He was extremely helpful to me; sending me literally dozens of quotes for different sized Avallos, with and without features. By the time I was ready to pull the trigger, he had pulled back a little bit to work on other projects, and sent me directly to Matt. Ron has been nothing but a class act the entire time. As Clint said, Top notch.

Every dealing I've had with RonC have been a pain in the ass. You can never reach him via email to receive tracking info, and if you do reach him he avoids your questions with excuses. It got to the point I stopped placing orders with him and would look at B&M's for needed items.
I think we are getting off track from the original subject. The wicks for the Avallo system. I e-mailed Matt yesterday and he was very quick in getting me an invoice through ****** to wrap this up and get me some new wicks.

I get two to three refills in the canisters before I have to change them out.

Matt took care of me as well yesterday...thanks! As far as replacement time, when they start getting grungy as you said and you will also notice when refilling the cannister, the wick is not working as efficiently as it does when new as the water is not wicking all the way to the top of the wick. That's what mine were doing.
