Draper 125th Padrons

Anyone try these yet? Looking to pickup a box of the maduro and natural. Interested in smoking this blend round.

These are going to be special, especially the natural.

I got a box of each, but they look like the same wrapper. I know sometimes Padron can use dark natural wrappers and/or lighter maduro wrappers, but these look pretty much identical. Anybody else get both? How close are the wrapper colors?

The wrappers are really close. The Maduro has a little bit of tooth to it whereas the natty doesn't. Taste wise though very different. Maddy has a nice sweet creaminess whereas the natural is much more straight forward Padron tobacco flavor. I usually prefer the natural in the Anniversary's ie 1964, 1926's but in this case, much more prefer the Maduro. G1

Call the MD and DC draper stores (it was a store exclusive limited edition release). I think the DC store is sold out of the maduro boxes, not sure if they have any singles, but probably best to call the MD store first to see if they have any left.

I'm not so much interested in whether it's good or not. I'm sure it is...it's a Padron.

But how different is the "tweaked blend" really?
