Just got the new kegerator up and running. The roommates and I are breaking her in with a 1/2 barrel of Widmers Drop Top.

Cheers
Nice...also on my project list. Did you build it or buy one?
A little of both. It was a dilapidated kegerator that I restored to working condition. I would like to build one, but I don't have the time available right now. Maybe that would be a good project for this summer. I am thinking about kegging my homebrew rather than bottling so maybe I will make a kegerator when I set up for that.

Just another thing to add to the list of procrastination activities :ballbounc
Tell me about it. We need a procrastination activities thread? I could fill most if it lol
After this discussion with mistaforty I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to start a thread for all of the BOTL DIYers and others that enjoy the occasional project. It could be a place where people show off the cool stuff they are working on and also come to find their next time waster (not that we need more).

Just a thought. Let me know what you all think and maybe get the ball rolling!

Ill start with the one most likely to get done. Building a back bar for my Rec room for additional seating. I've drawn it up. Priced the granite. Changed the design ....looked at the wood ....can't decide on the color. That's and painting my garage. Think that will happen Memorial Day. The home theater project is a whole nother animal lol.

I just got most the parts in for a project I have in mind to run off of a raspberry pi board (http://www.newark.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?id=43W5302&Ntt=43W5302&), probably won't be getting to that anytime soon being I still have a couple android apps that need updating, the website I'm putting together for the blind review results still needs work, and I have a bunch of cigars that aren't going to smoke themselves

Why in the world would you want to take valuable time away from cigar smoking to work on something like a project? Morrisjohn, can you drop a piece of the raspberry pie by the shop. I'm a big fan of pies, especially berry pies!! Thanks!!

Lol u have to have projects so u can smoke while u procrastinate doing them then have the after project celebratory smoke after you finally complete it or have the conversational smoke with the boys about doing it, having not done it, or just blowing smoke about planning to do it but you had to smoke first so you haven't done it yet. There's a lot of smoking involved in any good project lol.

+1, sometimes these projects just give me something to do when I am smoking at home :)

I am the worlds worst about this type of thing... I take on projects.. usually start out really strong.. and then get super involved in something else... or get busy with work, etc.. and it takes me forever to actually complete...

A couple of years ago I got into building (assembling and tuning really) single shot hunting rifles... I turned out a really nice little rifle for my son in a matter of weeks.. then I did one for myself.. then I did another one for my nephew..

So my father in law asked me to do a gun build for him... that was December of 2011.. I had planned on having the project knocked out no later than the first of February 2012... (Im a year late!) :)
