pft, I have waaaay more than that, I just store them in the different humidors of shops across the country and have them periodically ship small batches of my cigars to me every week or so when I place orders or decide to pick them up from their temporary homes :)
That's why I haven't been buying anything but new or limited releases for the past 3 months. I've also taken to rounding out some brands like Illusione and Tatuaje. Half the fun is the hunt. And, MorrisJohn, the Cigar Palace on Eisenhower is having an Ashton event next Tuesday. You ought to come by. If you're ever in the area stop in. I'm usually there from 1030a-4p.

Yea, I was joking above (obviously) about having way more, but even though my stash doesn't even come close to the size of yours I've been trying to be more selective with my purchases too. Funny thing is, just like with my humidors, I went through the process of upgrading my 28qt cooler to a 48qt to a 120qt, guess I didn't learn the first time.

Won't be by on Tuesday, but stopping by the shop again is on my todo list because I have some cigars I want to share with you all. In case you haven't made the connection (or forgot), I'm the same John that you met in your shop right before Christmas.

For others, I met Dave at Cigar Palace right before Christmas and he generously allowed me to try out their lounge, shared some cigars with me, and took some time to smoke a little with me. Great BOTL

Duh!!!! I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, but....no buts, just not that bright. Nayle was asking if I had seen you the other day. Like I say, go big or go home. The hard part is upgrading, and then filling the extra space and then upgrading. Vicious cycle.

Me being a nerd and wanting to learn more SQL, I created a SQL database for all my smokes. Lets me easily query on a certain brand or date range. Even created a stored procedure that updates the age of the smokes nightly.

I actually need to go about logging my cigar inventory, just such a pain to take everything out and put back while battling the cats from stealing my cigars!

I have 2-250 ct humidors' and 800 count Adorini humidor, 5-150 qt. coolers, 2-50 qt coolers, and a 25 qt cooler. I use heartfelt beads and an 8 qt evaporative humidor to keep the chest and room at 65% rh. One reason I'm opening a shop is so I can get a couple large controlled humidors to display the collection. Wineadors are great for 10-15 boxes, but for the number of boxes I have (200-250) I would need one of the super dooper commercial ones. They just aren't financially feasible. :stretchgr
LOL, you're not really buying a shop soo much as merging with one.
Basically!! My wife is for anything that rids her home of Big Blue Icechests. When I put one in the living room with a tablecloth over it and called it an "end table" she had pretty much had enough.
hahahaha, that is HILARIOUS!

Thats a good idea! Would absolutely do that if I had too many cigars to manage through Excel, but for now Excel is easier. But it would give me a reason to put SQL on one of my computers again.

This thread sparked a light bulb in my head. Going to start a spreadsheet this weekend! Only have ~80 sticks, glad I'm starting now!
