i got a phone call from a local deputy asking if i was missing some of my law enforcement equipment, like, my cite book, handcuffs/case, loaded AR-15 magazine, shotgun shells, deputy's notebook, etc. hmmm. sounds like my war bag.

He comes by the house... we determined my garage was burglarized,,, and they took a brand new, in the box, 42" hdtv flatscreen. i won the tv at my work christmas party. the deputy went back to the scene and found the empty box for the tv. they searched a nearby house and found more of my tactical gear. they identified the suspect and went looking for him. about 5am, they spotted him in a stolen vehicle. he got away, but the deputies found my tv in the trunk. how about that!

they also recovered an abundance of tools, electronic equipment, and sports gear. he's been a busy boy lately.

guess i'll be alarming mi casa very soon. the fact that the tv was recovered is amazing.

That's a fortunate recovery for sure! Sorry this criminal has brought his brand of lower humanity to your house brother.

and the State of CA, in their infinite wisdom, has decided to release most of the 'low level' felons back to the respective counties so they can get jobs and become contributing members of society. right. it's gonna get a lot worse, and, unfortunately, it's not going to get better.

You won a 42" TV at the Xmas party and it is still in the box? I need to work with you, Lee Harvey.

;) Glad you got your stuff back, Jeff.

This is happening a lot in my area as well. Jail overcrowding and a lack of funds to house inmates.

Im glad it was just the garage and not the house too.
no kidding! the door that leads into the garage is/was always unlocked. gotta rethink this as we usually use the garage door to enter the house. fortunately my daughter had moved out already.

Any chance that guy had any stanford's in his trunk too..... :))

glad you got your stuff back bro!
only in my dreams Jerome!

I didn't even know they had a racetrack in Ohio!!
Of course they do. But. It is around a corn field and they can only use it when it isn't planting season. They did have another one that circled a hog farm but they had a hard time selling tickets... Even with free bacon.😊
