amongst other miscellaneous boxes i can use until i can get/build the one i want (old man is a wood work by hobby) i figured i had a tackle box i could use. its a little less than 250 cu/in and it has a gasket seal. was a gift from a co-worker but i dont really fish. i was wondering, with a little dremel work to carve out some of the long dividers could it still be used? i would put down some cedar sheets for balance, but with the gasket and 3 locking sides would it be too air tight? it could roughly hold about 10-12 sticks. i'm not a huge smoker, more a weekend after dinner kind of guy and it would suffice for now.

good bad or indifferent, comments are always appreciated!

The box I'm talking about. It's rather shallow but can still hold a large ring size and up to a Churchill. The inserts going north south are optional and aren't in the box. And the lid has slight sectionals which I can cut out.

Make sure you take that old fish bait out of there, and do not get the cigars mixed in with the Hooks! ;)

I think this is a fine idea, and a little dissappointed that I never thought about doing this myself. Please post pics!

Tackle box humi? Should work! Careful though cigars have been known to attract brown trout!!!!
Yup! They (cigars) worked for me last Tuesday...
