My client turned his house closet, the one many people have by the front of their home door entrance, into a walk in wine cooler. that's the perfect area to convert in much the same manner. i think he did it for under $1,500

I imagine at some point, a walk in would be full also and you need another walk in.
I want to build a walk in so bad. Someday it will happen.

If you were not a reverend coupled w my access to lemon donuts I would tell you to GFY. But since you are I will just tell you to be quiet.
How does this have anything to do with you? I didn't mention you/your walk in/ or the 3 years it's taken you to fill it. I was just making a random comment.

Also, you can tell me "good for you" any time.

On the walk-in comment, I am guilty of this - back in the day I had a HUMUNGOUS walk-in and at one point had over 15,000 cigars in it... I have learned my lesson and have down sized in my current home, my new walk-in is a mere 8' x 10'.

One final comment, building a walk-in with real spanish cedar and doing it right with a vapor barrier, green board, hardwood floors, automated humidity control, etc is amazingly expensive... the wood alone in my current humidor cost me over $3k. :/

I have the prefect room for it. Going to do it in about two years. Just bought this house six months ago. Had a "powder room" on the corner between the family room and the kitchen. They didn't want the powder room, so they just walled it off. Is about 4 x 10. Want to make it a wine cellar/humidor.

Would you? I think if I got to the point of my own walk in I would probably do it up to where I never needed more space. And if I did, I would give away some sticks first.
What size do you think is "never need more space" size?

I think that point is when you pull a DE and build your own factory.

Just my opinion by the way.

Man, what started out as a small humidor and about 20 sticks in January has grown to, what my wife considers, a serious problem! Now I have a major lancero habit, a Wineador with 200+ sticks and about 30 more lanceros (thanks Atlantic ;)) on the way. Is this normal to become this obsessed so quickly? Should I seek help? Or is BOTL support my best option???

I'm loving it by the way, but any advice is appreciated.

Thx..
