Viaje Holiday Blend curtosey of OB-Left. Figured it was appropriate for today. Watching a live stream of my church. Happy Easter y'all.
Never would have thought of that. You can have your Sunday morning smoke and go to church at the same time.
Not a bad combo. Easter Sunday always brings out the old man bitterness in me. I am much more relaxed this way haha.

coffee from KGD, smoke from pooh bore. o)

EDIT: went from good, to incredibly, finger burningly rich and decedant. not really sure i have the background on LGC to compare, but after that smoke i could never revisit the marca and leave it with a 100% success rate. if every regional and limited were like that, there would be NO hesitations dropping the coin on them. o)

My first UF-13 Dark official production...
Nice, how was it?
This was the third UF-13 I've smoked, but the first out of the new production. I have to say that I prefer them with a bit of rest. Personally, I found the extreme power/kick - especially on the retrohale - to overwhelm the flavors of the smoke. With a little bit of rest to mellow out, I think these are even better.

Finally pulled out the one Mule Kick I scored yesterday. Coming from someone who loves the Four Kicks CG and thought the Headley Grange was a bit overrated, this might be the most overrated cigar in recent memory for me. I definitely didn't like it more than the Four Kicks CG and thought it lacked intriguing flavor which surprised me because I heard so many good things about it.

This is the Edgar Hoill Cultura and it's a little fire cracker. The cigar has straight sides from the foot for the first 2/3rds and then abruptly changes to a taper to the cap. It's not a true torpedo as it has that discernible step to a taper. Starts off full-bodied and gets stronger as you smoke it. Nice white ash and full of flavors that change half way through. Surprisingly easy draw and burned nicely all the way. The 10-count box is plain stamped cedar and the lid doubles as a tray with handles on the side to present cigars to your guests (i suppose).

Definitely worth getting a box if you can find them.

I agree. This is a really nice smoke and an unusual presentation. Worth a try for sure.
