Jackknife as in you got a plug of it and cut it yourself, or did you get the ready-rubbed tin? I have the ready-rubbed and find it too dry, wondering if the plug is better.

Werd - Molto Dolce is awesome. Have some Maple Street to try next. I've been dryboxing (literally, in a cigar box) some dolce for 3 days and it gets better and better. So much moisture straight out of the tin.

The plug. I have a tin of the ready rubbed in the cellar, I have heard its pretty different from the Plug.

If anyone wants to know some great tips on pipes listen to The Pipes Magazine Radio Show Podcast, his episode from the 28th of march he has a lot of awesome advice. He talks about drying and prepping tobacco.

stokkebye golden dansk in a stan that may be doomed forever to taste of cheap cherry. still, works with something that tastes virginia/ cav (without looking it up). probably going to dedicate this to sweeter/ fluffier types of smoke.

Did a little custom blending at the tobacco shop a few days ago, having a bowel of it now. It's half Crem Brule(sp) and half another shop blend called Spartacus. Pretty good.

Cheers :ccool:

Nightcap in my Nording Bear - I packed and charred it 2 days ago and WOW its way better now mmmmmmmm
Yep its amazing how the flavors can change by letting it rest like this, sometimes if im not digging a smoke i will throw a pipe cleaner in the stem and let it sit for a day or so then give it another go.
It even smokes colder! brb doing this with all my pipes!
