On the partagas, I'm curios if you guys have a preference of the partagas shorts over the millefleurs. I've got 10 of the millefleurs coming and opted for them over the shorts based on price.
I prefer the shorts.
Easily! I like the shorts. I really disliked the Millefleur's I had. If blind test, I would never have guessed they were same marque.

Recently snuck in a Olivia G Special G Maduro with the morning coffee....really enjoyed that. Otherwise Hemmingway SS Maduro are always nice.

The Room 101 San Andreas Papa Chulo is good as well. The one I can't believe no one has mentioned is the My Father Le Bijou 1922 petite robusto. Might be just a bit bigger than some of the others, but a great smoke.

because I make the time to enjoy a cigar I am a Toro/Torp size smoker. I do realize the thinner ring cigars have a stronger flavor but I give that up for a bigger cigar versus smoking 4 smaller cigars in the same time. In a pinch when I do want something quick I really enjoy the Tat PCR or the Verocu #5. I don't have those tastebuds that do a crazy over the suttle favors so for me I just find a cigar in the bigger rings that fit the bill the best they can.

A lot of good smokes already posted. Room 101's Namakubi Papi Chulo is a good little smoke.
I forgot about those little hidden gems. Always good, but at $6 a stick where I get them I think they're a bit much compared to some of the other quick smokes out there. Anyone know of anyplace to pick these up at a better price? Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread.

I have noticed that despite their smaller size, as long as the larger vitolas are quality cigars with price that represents that - there isn't often a parallel decrease in price for their smaller sized companions. I suspect the reality is they still have to command a high enough price point to establish the baseline for the value a brand/line wants to hold up to.

I have really been enjoying this size for the last year. Don't know why, but my preference has been gravitating to this size. I still like larger cigars, but this is a realm I have been traveling quite a bit of lately. I have the following list of smokes that I've found I really enjoy.

Tat Verocu #5
Oliva V #4
Padron ’26 #35
Padron ’64 Principe
Tatuaje VI Angeles
MUWAT Baitfish
Tatuaje Petite Cazadore Reserva
RomaCroft Intemperance BA XXI Intigue
Paul Garmirian Bombone
Paul Garmirian #5
DPG Black Perla
Cruzado Avalito
Curivari Reserva Limitada Café Petite Café
Cain Daytona 543
Intemperance EC XVIII Charity

I actually prefer smaller RG cigars... PC, Corona and Lonsdales. I do like robusto's but not really into cigars larger than 54 RG. Just too hard to smoke.

I've gotta put my money on the Mote PE as well. Great shorter smoke and its a great value. Also, the Partagas short is an obvious big winner. Those two are hard to beat.
