welcome to the board! why don't you roll through the "introductions" forum, give a shout to to everyone?

as for the FFP, they are a small but recurrent release. drew estate has said they are (trying real hard to) rolling things like FFPs and dirty rats out a couple times a year to LP accounts. if you keep your eyes peeled and give it time, they will come back.

There's a guy in the netherlands that sell them, but they are not cheap with EU tobacco taxes and all.

18 euros a piece.
Dang that's like 24 25 bucks nuts nuts.
yeah, it's crazy, i got a box just to see what the hype was all about, but for that money we can get most CC's and IMO they are a lot better. I'd rather spend 10 bucks on a MC#2 than more than double that on a FFP.

Not sure where you can find them, and at $24-$25 a pop at the suggested site, that is a bit pricey. Have had both versions and I must say that I was glad they were gifts to me and I didn't have to spend my own money to buy them. Were they dog rockets? NO! Were they good? Even at $5.00 a stick, I would not stock any in my humidor as there are cigars I like much more than these.

Of course, that is my palate. I have a buddy who absolutely loves the 52 version and goes out of his way to buy all he can. I even help him find them if I can.

I LOVE the FFP, but I still won't pay more than $15/stick. Even that is really hard for me, but it's worth it since I really do love them.

Everybody is always looking for t52 and no9 pigs, but they're increasingly rare. So your only option there is to watch the secondary market, and I can guarantee you'll pay quite a bit of markup. I've paid anywhere from $20-40 for them. They're good, but not that good.

Honestly, I think that while I loved both, a nearly equivalent experience can be had in the standard Robusto for half the price. Unless you've got a finely honed palate, there's not a huge difference. Your basically paying for rarity and age. The blend on the no 9 is a touch different, but not $20 better, and the t52 blend is the exact same iirc.

FFPs are a different animal, and I wouldn't pay over $15. Not because theyre not good -they are delicious and i LOVE - them- but because they pop up a number of times a year, and aren't too hard to find. I'd recommend that you get to know your B&M owner. Otherwise givers gain. Help others find rare, limited, or htf stuff and you can build a network of guys who will help you out in return!
