Just wanted to say HI to everyone. I'm from Pennsylvania and have been enjoying cigars for the past five years. Still need to learn so much, at 52 I hope there is a number of years left to continue to learn. I look forward to reading and hopefully posting my 2 cents in the future.

Have been trying to get the real taste of the cigars I buy now. I am buying 5 packs of all kinds of brands. I tried to stay true to my budget and have found that there are some fantastic smokes in the 6-8 dollar range. I have recently been really trying to eye, feel, and taste the cigars I am trying. I am having some trouble with the the flavors of them. Lingo is probably not the best but it has been hard getting the real flavors of coffee, nuts, cedar, oak, smooth, rich, creamy and so on.

Can you tell us what five packs you have enjoyed? As far as picking up subtle flavors I can not help you. I base my enjoyment off construction, smoke output, and wether it is a mild, medium or full bodied smoke. An absolute favorite smoke of mine in you price range is Drew Estates Liga Privada Undercrown.
