ISO Stone Brewery 4-20-13

I am trying to find one of the Stone Brewery 4-20-13 IPA. My first born was born on that date and I thought it would be cool to buy a bottle and put back. If anyone has a bottle that they would part with please let me know, I will pay over msrp.

I live in stone country... I'll keep my eyes peeled, but usually all the limited stuff gets snatched up quick around here.

Also, not to tell you what to do, but IPAs are not usually the type of beer you age.

Great idea but I it's not a beer to put back. Not to mention the next release is already out and they do limited batches for whichever part of the country it's sent to.

Yeah good luck on it. 5/17 is already almost gone...I had 4/1 and don't even remember seeing 4/20 here in the dc area

Do you care if it's empty or full? (not being a dick, but since they're suppose to have been drunk by 10 days ago, might be hard to find full one's anywhere).

Don't hate. The food is sh*t for the $$, and the beers you can get at almost any local beer bar that's worth going to... not to mention, the place oozes pretension.

Stone requires the retailers to pull any beers off the shelf if there are any left after that date. So you will only be able to find 4-20-13 beers from people, not shops.

I agree about the food thing, but Sean....most people don't live near good beer bars like us in ad or pdx, I think their beer selection is fairly solid, but not worth driving out of your way for if you are in sd by sd

It is rare when the LEs end up on tap there, too... or if they do get tapped, they are gone in a matter of days. Essentially if you go to the source, you are not guaranteed anything special.

Like Scott said, if you are in SD, might as well go to some place closer to the city (Stone is 30 minutes+ to the north), chill in a more relaxing environment (one with out the gawkers), eat better/cheaper food, and drink the same beer.
