Greetings to all the great brothers on the forum! I have a question about modifying a non working wine cooler. It is a 28-30bottle cooler with dual zones, and is compressor based. Now it does turn on and cools a little bit, but over the four years I have had it have not bothered messing with it to try and get it working. What I have had an idea to do, is pull the compressor parts out of it to lighten it up, pull the divider for the dual zone out and then line it with Spanish cedar. My question is, how would One go about doing this? Or is there some type of guide to starting this project? I have tried finding a break down of a danby wine cooler, but there is little to no info on it. And even on the back of the cooler I can't even find any screws to get the back off to get to the compressor.
I know I have seen some of you mention doing something similar to this, or lining a cooler with cedar. I was just curious what your input on going about this would be!
