...to smoke cigars once again!!! Met with my surgeon yesterday for my 3 month follow up from my surgery and he is very pleased with the way things are heealing and my weight loss progress. I'm down a total of 40 lbs from where was when I went in. I was down 45 but giained 5 lbs back somewhere during the last couple of weeks but I'll lose them again. He said that there is no problem with the occassional cigar. He didn't define "occassional" but I'll try to keep it down to 1-3 a week...for now. We're still on track for a Nov - Jan reversal on my colostomy.

Congrats good luck with continuing on your road... Occasional is probably more like 1 every couple weeks. Occasions don't happen 3 times in a week lol. Just don't want u to hurt or disrupt anything. Definitely make it a good one tho!

Thanks guys! I'm sure I have a nice Davi tucked away that needs to see the light of the sun...as well as the light from my lighter! I'll be buring one this afternoon...

Congrats - hope you enjoy. When my dad had a major hospitalization he came out and could no longer really stomach anything but very mild, small cigars. Any size to it or any real intensity and he'd get nauseous really quickly. Hope it didn't mess with your palate!

Awesome news! By that I mean that you're doing well, being able to smoke cigars again is of course great too. The real question is ... what are you planning to smoke the next few weeks????

Well, I enjoyed my Davi Millenium Blend followed by a Perdomo Lot 23 and it felt WONDERFUL!!!! God, I love a great cigar! Thought about going with an Undercrown but probably a little too full for me at this point. Besides, they'll age more!
