Just wondering if anybody has received anything they've ordered from him any time this year?

I notice Golf Nut is consistently delivering products. Yet I haven't received anything from chasidor on my order from January, and all of my emails have been ignored.

I suppose he could just be extraordinarily backlogged, but figured I'd check here first. I'm getting worried I'll never have shelves.

And yes, I should have gone with Golf Nut.

That's pretty disturbing if you ordered in January and heard nothing. I would be a very unhappy customer to be honest and would be filing claims at this point.

I agree..

Its one thing to wait.. especially when you know a product is on back order.. or it you know its being hand built.. etc..

but its entirely something else to pay for something 5 months ago.. and not even be able to get a reply back when you ask for a status update..

I knew going in when I ordered some new trays for Forrest that I would be waiting at least 6.. possibly 8 weeks.. but he has always been exceptional about answering emails when I have reached out to him in the past.. been willing to let me know roughly when a product was going to be shipped out.. etc..

I never hesitate to recommend him to others.. and will continue to do business with him myself (Ive actually got another order placed with him now)...

Hate to hear youre having trouble with Chasidor Alex.. but appreciate you posting it up here.. I value knowing who not to do business with in the future as much as I value knowing who is good to do business with...

Worse things could happen, but we shall see.

I sent a final email to him. If it continues to be ignored, I will start the process with the BBB. Fun stuff...

If you already paid him with ****** or a cc then I would start the dispute process to get the money back I bet he would contact you then or at least you could get the money back!

Forest delivered my custom trays this past weekend (took about 7 weeks to get them from the order date).. and as always, the quality was excellent... and communication was very good..

opening the box sadly reminded me of this thread...

Any resolution yet Alex?

Funny. I'm going on 11 weeks now and still waiting. I emailed Forest on 5/15 asking for an update and he said he'd get back to me. Sent him a follow up to that on 5/17 and haven't heard anything. Getting nervous :crytears:

History really does repeat itself. 25, myself and a few others ordered drawers back in 2010(?)
-Lets see:
Threw back out.
-had to watch grand kids multy weekends.
-Wood Router went bad
-saw went bad.
4-5 months later we recieved our drawers.
Only thing he's ever had going was his craftsmanship.....

Nope. Took the time to fill out a BBB complaint, only to have it take me to an error page upon submitting it and losing everything.
He's also had complaints filed in the past, apparently, with little to no effect.

I can only handle so much headache, and gave up.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if my shelves got sent to whoever moves into my place after I move out in August.
But at least you guys got some sort of response out of him, so kudos there. I've heard NADA.

Did you get communication from him before/during the ordering process, or did you blindly order? Like Justin and others have said, he is notorious for LONG delays with no communication. I got my drawers from him in the Fall of 2009 and lack of service was starting then.

People keep ordering despite numerous warnings and stories. I am actually surprised to hear people are still ordering from him, I thought he was done long ago... it's too bad he can't get his act together because the quality is great. I guess that's why people take the chance.

If they have been warned and they know his issues then they can't bitch at all
