In my short time of partaking the briar, i have found a fondness of the va/burs (virginia and burley blends). See, pipe smoking makes me feel smarter.

If u want something to start on just to learn to smoke try prince albert or carter hall. They can also be used to blend with later down the road to change the flavor or a blend.

One thing i learned, my flavor profile changed fairly quickly. For instance, i hated Mac Baren Plumcake. Didnt even like the smell. Now its one i keep on hand as a go to.

As far as favorites;
STONEHAVEN!!!!!!
Peterson University Flake
Peter Stockebeye Bullseye Flake.
....many others.

By far more baccys that i like than i dislike.

Some days i just hit that note, like, Peterson Uni Flake in my Nording Freehand that makes everything seem perfect for just that moment.

I like this thread. Getting........dangerous.........ideas..........

So I've heard, but the stuff appears to be more elusive than Flying Pigs! Goodness knows I've been able to acquire those, but not the blasted Stonehaven!

So Dave's packaged arrived today...I'm always worried when a package shows up, especially if it's not in a standard small flat rate box...Dave's wasn't and it was over the top

Thank You! Looking forward to trying out the tobacco and already have my recently acquired pipe resting in its new home thanks to you! Thanks for the cigars too, I should've known you'd throw in some of your beloved fausto's :)

Now, since that is out of everyones system :), let's hear about some other favorites people have

Some of my personal favorites include Esoterica's Penzance & Stonehaven, Solani Aged Burley Flake & Silver Flake (underrated IMO), Rattray's Hal O' the Wynd & Old Gowrie, SG St. James Flake, McConnell's Scottish Cake, GLP Odyssey, Mac Baren's HH Vintage Syrian, Dan's Hamborger Veermaster, & I've been particularly fond of H&H Anniversary Cake lately - so smooth!
