OR as in Original Release from 2008? or Original Blend that is still in production? Those OR's are getting harder and harder to find nowadays.
My apologies, I did not realize there was OR and OB. I just figured OR = Original. That is what I get for posting when I am dead ass tired after work. I did check the box but there was no date on it. My best guess is that these are whatever is still in production.

Just curious, besides age how are the OR 2008 different?

Bit of a buffet from the Drew event with the famous John Hart. Would have loved to pick up more unico's but due to traffic and limited #'s it was one eachIMG_20130525_174001_545_zps910949eb.jpg

Crop year is the biggest factor. Only cigar nuts like us would even notice, but vintages of tobacco can be much like vintages of wine ... making a huge difference to crazies who have the palates to tell the difference. The 2008/early 2009 Broadleaf that Pete first used on wrappers during that time was a bit unique (OR La Riqueza, El Triunfador, Frank, Noella Reserva 2009, Regios Reserva 2009). It's not that late-2009 to current-era Broadleaf is inferior, it's just different. As with everything, it's largely a matter of taste.

I still have some OR La Riquezas and some OR (pre-My Father factory) El Triunfadors ... both of which came before the Frank, which of course put Tatuaje's Broadleaf cigars on the map.

Just got these in yesterday. Thanks again to YodisMatt an Hoshy for spotting the deal. This is my first box purchase and I'm stoked.

Also got in an awesome side trade with Red Raider. He killed his end and proves that he can not do math. We agreed on a mixed 5'er. Thank you again.

Very nice pickup for your first box! Be warned, you are on a very slippery slope
