My first thought was that this was an old-timey photo effect ... but when I saw it was you, I figured it's probably cigars from the '60s, lol.Just a few singles recently....

Partagas Habaneros
Por Larrañaga Montecarlos
I have. The Panatellas are short filler & these Montecarlos aren't. I think PLP's are a decent cheapie (especially with age). I'm hoping these Montecarlos are a bit more refined & more in line with the PLPC's.Have you ever had a Por Larrañaga Pantella? If so, you should let me how those Montecarlos stack up to its smaller brother.

Nope. Both of them are hand made, long filler. Not sure how long either have been around, but maybe before the switchover of many marcas around 2002 they were machine made and/or short filler. Not since then though. As you can see from the box codes, both are shown as being "totalmente a mano" (totally hand made) & neither are designated as being Tripa Corta (or "TC", which means Short Filler) like all short filler habanos are.I thought the Montecarlos and habaneros were both short filler?I have.
