I just noticed the price point on these. Was this around the same as the original release?

A bit higher price. I think I paid about 12-13 each for the original and I heard these are about 18.

I think the No. 2 has improved a lot with age ... it was great to begin with, now they are sublime. The No. 5 will probably age well too, might take a bit longer given the thicker ring, but time will tell.

Had one last night. Never had the no2, but they're pretty damn good. Bit medium, but lots of different flavors happening. I got a lot of cream going on, at different stages. I really think they will shine in a 6-8 month period. I'm going to leave my second box sleeping for a while, and see what happens. I agree with a lot of what that review said. Takes a decent bit of what's good in the few CCs I've had, and then adds some NC stuff to it. Bit expensive for what you get, but I think it's just a tad overpriced.

My buddy had one as well, and he's a relatively newer smoker, and he thought it was pretty amazing.

I found a place that has them for 162 a box with free shipping, still expensive but much better than the 180-190 a box most places are selling them for

Emerson's for 170 is alright. I can handle that. At 162, its a damn good smoke, but not knock the doors off for me. 190? Uh, no.

For 10 or 20 bucks less, it would be a cigar I would squirrel away a ton. As it stands, I have my two boxes and I will revisit in mid summer if I want more.

They almost look too pretty to smoke, dammit! Plus knowing that a single hand rolled everyone of these beauties (across the land) is equally daunting. I almost feel like I'd be smoking a national treasure! "Almost". My box is sitting along side some other precious keeps. Paid $167 for mine.
