Speaking of Genesis The Project, here's an unconventional "deal" you might want to play around with. Right now, Cbid has the 6-stick samplers that come with the ashtray thing (see http://www.cigarbid.com/Auction/Lot/1509240/Genesis-The-Project-Wooden-Ashtray-Sampler-6-Cigars/). $29.66 is the "magic number," as far as I can tell. (I watched it for longer than I care to admit... Oh, and this item is on the CI site for $40, so if you want it, don't buy it there!) Now, granted, that's about $5 per stick (not as good as the box offer previously noted), BUT... if you don't care about the ashtray, you may be able to sell it on eBay. I picked up one of these back in January on Cbid for about $30. I sold the ashtray on eBay for $31. I subsequently checked, and the person I sold it to turned around and resold it in March for $32.50 (see http://www.ebay.com/itm/170999712849?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649). Bottom line-- there seems to be aftermarket interest in these ashtrays all by themselves and so there's a pretty reasonable chance for you to flip the ashtray so that the cigars are basically free. I picked up a couple more tonight and will give it another shot, because it's FUN! (For me, anyway...)

Five packs of EPC Edicion Limitada for 49 and change shipped on the monster right now. Also some great coupon codes you can play around with. I got two and then threw in a boveda to get it over 100 and then used the save 20 off 100 and got the whole deal for 83 and change. Not bad for a $15 stick that I like. I think you might see more and more deals on these as the consensus is that they're not as good as the Dark Rituals but I don't think you'll get them that cheap.

Next time, instead of watching to see what the minimum is, use this.

That is a pretty sweet ashtray box thingy. Still a bit too steep for me, but I would like one of those at some point.

I saw that one for orders of $50 or more, but normally there's one floating around for free shipping on any order. The most recent one I have (/freesh34) isn't working anymore. :sadcry:

Wow, that's awesome, thanks! That'll save my eyeballs. Oh, and folks should keep an eye on the Cbid free-falls as well for the MUWAT Bait Fish. I got two five-packs for $35.14 last week. With the $4.95 shipping, it's about the same as the Joe Deal. (I coulda saved nine cents if I'd waited! Aaagh!)
