Dude wow I read that article awhile back...that stuff sounds AMAZING let me know how the bouchons are. Nice score for sure bro!!!
That's awesome, AW! The article makes it sound like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Let us know how you like it.Nobody is ever foolish, no one has all the knowledge. Yes it is the semois from the article http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/14/magazine/tobacco-thats-so-brooklyn-but-made-in-belgium.html?_r=0 but its a little dry and tired from the trip so a little humidity nap before I get to break open a gold brick.
Curious as well. I've never even heard of it before now, but what do you expect from a pipe tobacco newb. That's awesome, AW! It's prolly my favorite pipe tobacco thus far. So flavorful, nuanced & smooth. I love that its made for a shop that's literally 5 minutes from where I work too. I'll throw some in my next package to you.Nice Kevin...That Exotic blend sounds like it's right up my alley. Might have to pick some up.
Hole in the wall shop that you'd prolly pass without even noticing unless you knew right where it was. Prime location on N High St, just north of the OSU campus though. Almost seems like they're not utilizing their location to the fullest extent, but what do I know? Knowledgable staff (Benjamin Berkeley is who I've been dealing with) & they have a nice selection of new & estate pipes & all kinds of pipe tobaccos in bulk. Looks like they're redoing their walk in humidor & their cigar selection is horrible at the moment though. They also have a house blend made by J.F. Germain & Son (just like the Exotique is) that is called "Select" and it is really good, but much more mild & more of a morning smoke in my book. Well worth checking out though the next time you're in Columbus.Might have to get some to try when I am down that way next

Just got a 2 oz tin today, brutha. They told me it sells quick. I didn't really believe them, but I guess they were telling me the truth if its sold out online. Half my tin has your name on it, Tommy Boy.Damit...set myself up. :stickbeatIt's prolly my favorite pipe tobacco thus far. So flavorful, nuanced & smooth.
