So I was thinking to myself while sitting here at work smoking a corona viva, why isn't there a corona or corona gorda sized LP9? I know there's the dirty rat but being so hard to find, why not do that size and make it more available. Not saying the corona vivas are bad, but would live to see a corona-corona gorda size in the LP9. Would be in my daily rotation for sure! G1

It might have to do with having limited crop to meet demand of the already regular line and unico series.

There have been test blends of a corona LP9, in fact, the "Black Rat" is essentially just that...No word on release as of yet.

That would be amazing! Until, or if, the 'black rat' gets mass produced like Brooks said, I'll stick to my french fries, haha.

Interesting. Thanks for the info Brooks. I also heard that DE is working on a Viva robusto, have you heard anything regarding that?

Cool though if the Black Rat becomes a release, sounds like another Unico. Would prefer it to be a regular LP9 release (more readily available, lp9 blend) G1

If DE would produce the same in their T52 line, I think I'd be in heaven!

That sweet, oily stalk cut wrapper over let's say a 48X6".....Holy cow.

I'd LOVE Viva-sized T52 and LP9, I think the blend and wrapper scream for that size!

IIRC, the rationale Saka gave once was that DE already has a hard enough time keeping up with demand for current sizes, they didn't want to add a new size until the production issues were sorted out.

Personally, I'd be happy to see them ditch the Belicoso or Corona Doble size in favor of a corona gorda, but what ya gonna do!

How is that wasteful... I don't want to elaborate to much, but the current wrap selection just doesn't have what the acid wrapper provides am sorry.. I am a total degenerate... ;)

"The United States Tobacco Taxation Board has classified all individual cigar wrappers as "Blunts" and taxes them as roll-your-own tobacco", Wikipedia...

Using the name hereby given by the United States Tobacco Taxation board I will phrase it like such... The current blunt selection sucks no quality and the flavors are super artificial and Acid wrappers fill that void in my world... So I was just putting it out there.. I am not a purist by any means I like my cigars unflavored whole natural etc but I like the cross over I do like a Red Bull and Vodka... I don't mean to hijack divert or subvert the ongoing conversation I was just testing the water maybe I should have posted that on a different forum lol... Don't shoot the messenger you can resume the natural course of this thread...

No comment. :)
I will comment on it. Saka made no secret about it on safari that they are making new sizes of the Viva blend.

Thanks, apparently a straight forward answer isn't as hard as it appears.

I think you have this cigar forum confused with your weed forum.

Eh, maybe I took it the wrong way. Whatever, no biggie anyway.

a ryo pack of some LP premium leaf would be a nice twist on the current market.
the learning curve would pose a challenge of sort, although
the idea of ultimately rolling up my own fresh #9 baby rats on demand would be worth it !

I never mentioned "Herbage"... I only mentioned I would like to see an Acid "Blunt" Wrap and even posted the United States Tobacco Taxation board classification of individual cigar wrappers as blunts not to be confused with such things as "Herbage". I would never promote the illegal use of any legal product ( or maybe ) ... The facts were as they are and not hidden in subliminal signals of speech which may allude to the use of "Herbage" as a filler in said Blunt wrap... May I remind those who witness this the assumptions by some members of the use of Kuba Wrapper may or may not be accurate but are only their own opinions to the special purpose of said wrappers...

Just wanted to add that in there...
