I never tried the ESG. Its a really good cigar though.How does it compare to ESG? I am down to a few ESG (luv) and thinking I'll try VSG >$$.

That's cool. Honestly I'd reco holding off on the FdC until Nica. Makes it a lil more special and memorable. Do what you want though. Zaya and Cabin Fever are also great with these Ligas.

I'm going to be blasphemous and say that I like the new blend better than the OB.
I've never had the OB but the No.1 is one of my top 5 cigars. The new blend never seems to get a lot love either, I don't understand why.
