IPCPR 2013 Real-Time Coverage and Updates

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that I, and two other members of Blind Man's Puff will be headed to IPCPR at the end of this week, and we will be doing our best to keep everyone that is interested in real time updates from the show. Each of us will be posting to the IPCPR section of the website, which can be found in a link at the bottom of this post. We will be posting lots of pictures, quick mini-reviews as we are given samples, info on new smokes, and exclusive interviews with cigar makers. If there is anything in particular you would like to see from us, or any questions you would like to ask us, or have us ask a manufacturer, let me know in this thread or send me an email.

I'm sure plenty of people appreciate your info, but not really good form to promote your own blog on another forum like this. There are sponsors to this site and it's not really fair to come here promoting your own site. If you want to share info here, do as Craig and make your posts directly in this thread.

I'm sorry but I really don't see a conflict of interest here. People post deals to other sites that sell things all the time, and that is not frowned upon. We are allowed to post reviews that link to our own site in the review section as long as the entire review is posted. People talk about this and that brand bashing or praising, and that doesn't affect the sponsors. And I have a website to run, not just post reviews in one forum when I represent four. I will try an post in all the locations when a new story is posted, but posting it in all places would take too much time. Just trying to spread information to my fellow brothers and sisters. That is all.

Yes BOTLs post about deals to help eachother out, but they arent posting deals from their own website... A little difference there huh? BOTLs sharing info to help everyone is a little different than someone schlepping their own website to build followers and advertising revenue. That's why sponsors pay to promote their sites...
