I smoke twice a day and 99% of the time it's by myself. Not by choice but I don't have anybody who is big cigar smokers to hang out with on a daily basis. I do alot of FB stuff and keep up on politics. Being a huge supporter of the Constitution there's plenty to read about thanks to our dip shit pres. Anyways I don't get on the forums as much as I'd like but at my age I enjoy news and current events while I'm smoking.

I hear you loud and clear, and I agree...Smoking alone and/or smoking while doing nothing else is really not fun.

Ideas...

Now that it's summer, I will grab a cigar when doing yardwork or outdoor tasks. Watering the lawn is a great choice as well. Sometimes I'll just jump on the cell and catch up with friends.

Hope these ideas help!

I smoke alone probably 99% of the time. The other 1% my girlfriend comes out with me. To pass time I bring out my laptop and surf the forums or web, instagram, text friends or fellow forum (cigar.com) people I'm friends with. Lately been watching Netflix.

Between girlfriend and my son (I love both of them to death) I enjoy that time alone. I would love to smoke with friends but I don't have any that smoke cigars.

Huh. I started smoking to be alone. Seriously. I figured it would drive people away and I'd have something I could do by myself.

Step 1: get married
Step 2: have a kid
Step 3: work 50+ hours a week
Step 4: have another kid
Step 5: work 60+ hours a week
Step 6: get drunk and enjoy the fu*#in' lonely time for the time being that you no longer have.
This is why taking a s#%! has taken on a whole new meaning for me! Twenty minutes of peaceful bliss (aside from the occasional grunt)! DOH! apologies for the graphic nature of this reply.

I'm pretty introverted so I actually prefer to smoke alone. I sit outside, stream some music for background noise and just enjoy. Occasionally I'll pull out the phone or iPad if I want to look something up, usually cigar related. My neighbor is also a BOTL so sometimes he comes over to join me, which can be nice occasionally to share that cigar camaraderie.

As this has really taken on a life of its own. I smoke alone 95% of the time. So I'm on here, readin about the cigar I'm smoking, looking up cigars, watching cigar videos, cigar podcasts and it hits me now I do alot of cigar shit.

I'm one of those souls who doesn't like being alone for to long. Something goes on it the brain and I don't enjoy it. So I will talk to the neighbours beg the wife to come out of shoot the shit on the phone with my old man.

I'm leaning heavily towards this in my future!

when weather permits (I live in Wisconsin) I smoke outside on my deck, listen to music and relax - usually on the weekend. During the winter I smoke in my rec room - I converted my finished lower level into a smoking room - jukebox, poker table, futon, old 3rd base side seats from Wrigley Field, and fireplace. I just turn on the jukebox and fireplace and open the window (with a reversible fan) and relax.

I've got a friend who smoke cigars in the buff - fortunately I've never seen it.

If you've got internet access this has good music and all commercials have to do with cigars. http://www.thecigarstation.com
