I literally laughed out loudDrug dealing and exotic dancing is how I raise cigar money
I'm doing that one too but that's for the Dominican Republic next year for my birthday in MarchI started in trying to do the 52 week challenge and that ended after a few weeks haha. By the end of the year you are suppose to end up with $1,378.00.
The way it works is what ever week of the year it is you put that much in your savings Week 1 -$1, Week 2 -$2, Week 3 -$3... and so on.
I budget the same amount per month but I spend it all at once. Usually gets me one box per month and maybe a couple fivers. Also, I budget my dining out by carrying cash and only paying for it that way. I take out $100 per paycheck. When the cash is gone, I have to eat at home. The leftover change goes into a jar on my dresser and I can use that for cigars, too!I budget myself $50/week for cigars, and lunches while at work.
I have yet to stay under that budget, but having a "budget" set in place makes the wife happy, lol.
The change idea is pretty good. I haven't thought about doing it for cigars, but last year I decided to carry cash for about 5 months (because I never have cash, always debit/credit) and save my change.
I ended up with a little over $40 in change at the end of that 5 months. Used it for gas though.
