Lots of New Jersey intros lately, figured I'd add to the list. I've spent many hours gleaning a wealth of knowledge from these boards over the past few weeks, so it's about time I formally join and introduce myself. What better time than when I'm sitting on the deck on a swelteringly hot and humid night enjoying a Cuvée 151?
I smoked very infrequently for many years, and only when my son was born almost two years ago did I really realize how enjoyable a good cigar can be. I bought a box of "it's a boy" cigars to give out, but only gave away about 10 of 25 (not many friends or family smoke), so I had to do something with the rest. Before the box was empty I was hooked! Just got my first humidor for Father's Day, got some beads from heartfelt that are working wonderfully, and looking forward to burning through many boxes of cigars in years to come.
Since I do not have a long experience with cigars, I am still learning a lot about what I like and don't like. I'm somewhat budget conscious so I like finding god deals, like the Cuvées I got for less than $3/stick, but I splurge sometimes like when my wife and I go on a cruise, I like to pick up a few Cubans in the islands to enjoy.
Outside of cigars, I enjoy spending time with my family, going down the shore, AC, or to Dorney Park (little Seth loves Snoopy World). I'm fortunate to work from home most of the time, so I don't waste much time commuting and get more time to relax at home with my family. Besides a good cigar, I enjoy a good bottle of wine or scotch when I'm winding down for the night.
I'm sure I could go on and on, but who would read it all? So I'll wrap it here for now, and go back to lurking on the boards and learning more about my favorite leaf!
