You are correct, then they put cello on them and they have been much better. The wrapper is very delicate either way though. Still a huge fan of them.

I've stored all mine out of cello with no issues.
I'll try that next time. Thanks.
I store at 66/68° and 66/67% rh when I pull from the cabinet the desktops are same temp and roughly 65% rh for a week or so till I get to it. Some up to a month before I get to them.
I wish I could keep my desktop at 66-68 degrees... without a 500 dollar electric bill anyways...

On the HE, I've really enjoyed the few that I've had so far. The only wrapper issue I had was once I took the band off when it was in it's last third. Disappointing to see it naked like that, but kudos for champing through it. How loose of a draw did it have in that last pic?

Exactly what happened to me in bold. Was still a decent draw without the wrapper.

Yeah, I think the next one I have I'll let the burn line creep up right onto the band. I guess maybe the gum didn't get hot enough for the fragile wrapper even with it being within a centimeter... It felt warm enough when I peeled it off but still cracked along the side.

Ive smoked quite a few of these with no problem... I have heard the wrappers are fragile.. They always deliver in full, at least for me.

There were wrapper issues out the gate. They initially fixed it via cellophane but some cigars had issues, Marty (L8A) will tell you how bad the toro was, lol. Since then they have gone to a thicker wrapper leaf to remedy the issue. There are probably still some cigars out there with the thinner wrapper but it has been addressed by DE and should be good going forward. Which is great because it's a phenomenal fucking cigar!

Was just getting ready to say "must have been a Toro". LOL. Have been through three boxes of the Lonsdales and numerous line samplers from Emerson's and have never had a problem with any other size save the Toro. Absolutely an awesome cigar.

I had problems with a first shipment shorti corona batch. About 6-7 had wrapper issues, but I smoked them anyhow. This new box with celo seems to be fine.
