My one year wedding anniversary is this October and I want to make a special box purchase for the occasion. I want to smoke one cigar from the box every year on our anniversary, then eventually make something from the box and/or bands/tubes etc.

The problem is I'm not sure what to buy. My price range it around $150/box. I kind of would like to find a cigar that comes in a box of 10, although I know most come in 20+

I'm looking for a good med/full - full smoke. Any suggestions? I'll probably need to go to my B&M and buy a single or two before making the final decision on box purchase.

Thank you Brothers for the help

I know this is going to sound like I am taking the easy way out, but you need to smoke what you like to smoke man. It isn't so much the cigar that is making the occasion special, but you using it to honor the occasion.

also take into consideration that (hopefully) you'll have one 10-20 years down the road. some cheaper sticks are not going to do very well with aging. one thing that comes to mind is the epc stick that is sold at federal cigar. 10 to a box and well within your price range.

If you can find them a box of 12 Dirty Rats are near that price range. They are fantastic smokes.
If they age well? I'm working on that now 'finding out' that is. Ratzilla I think has mellowed out to much....at least the one I smoked. Was still good just not what I expected. Could just be my funky ways.

Honestly Rev I am to new to all this to have aged anything.
Me too brother I've been fortunate enough to get a few 'aged' treats but most I have is rott. I have some nc's I really hope are better after extended rest. I'm not sure I can handle letting sticks age 2 or more years without burning thru them lol

this right here, on both the quality of the stick, and the EPC federal that looks like a boli gold medal, an AMAZING smoke. bob is, of course, made of win.

i unfortunately burned an opus forbidden 13 to celebrate our 13th anny, and might have made that a thing for myself. another great smoke, but they are not price conscious if (BIG IF) you find them at MSRP, and they are painful if you cannot.

or hell, you could pick up a box of padron thousands easy in that range. they do age surprisingly well.

If you're looking for a box of 10, at $15/stick, there are a lot of good options.

My personal recommendation would be to get a box of Montecristo Grande Edmundos. They're right in that price range and are one of my favorites, and are only getting better and better.
