Way ahead of you. I ordered the Liga A Petit Torpedo yesterday.Still feeling the need to smoke a RP. Go with these and save yourself some green.

There may not be a lot of love on BOTL for RP, but there are a lot of people that swear by his stuff outside of the forums. He makes cigars for the regular smoker and puts a lot of advertising behind it, which does well for him. I think you will find for the most part on BOTL that people usually tend to spend their money elsewhere.Wow there doesn't seem to be much love for RP. In my unofficial, unscientific poll i am seing maybe one in 10 that have favorable things to say about his cigars......, will that spoil the waters for him eventually?
You can also find them on the cigar auction sites a lot in 5 packs. The RP OWR Corojo was on joecigar.com this morning. It'll probably come around again sometime in the early afternoon. 10 for 37.50 w/ free shipping. If you are interested at least the price point isn't insane.
This is the best advice. We have all made that box buy only to find we regretted it. When I smoked RP "Years ago" I would have given it to the Edge but I truly don't care for either now and haven't smoked an RP in over two years. Try before you buy!If you're not sure, absolutely don't buy a box. Buy fivers of each and smoke through those first.
Personally, I used to love both when I first started, but as my palate improved, the chalkiness of the smoke, combined with the dark stains left on my fingers, lips, and teeth, made me go in other directions. I then discovered there are a lot of better cigars for the same price, especially given the OWR's higher price point.
