Was cigars-only last week. Now I've got some Blue Mountain in a Nording. Smokes incredibly cool in this big F5 pipe. Love the flavors, Latakia with a big punch of plum or maybe apple.

GL Pease Sextant in my Brigham. On the same level as Penzance, IMO. Definitely one of my favorite pipe tobaccos so far.

had a bowl of Davidoff Royalty today, still learning how to light and keep lit but the first few puffs were amazing. It then turned bitter and what I recognized as 'too hot' from my experience smoking cigars. Not sure what exactly I'm doing wrong, but the learning process keeps me interested.

broke in my MM country gentleman with a bowl of Ol' Limey Bastard. I burned it rather quickly as I need to get to work, but it was a little too 'limey' for my inexperienced pallet. Will give it another try when I have more time to enjoy it. I am also getting the hang of tamping and haven't gone through so many matches as I did a few days ago.

Had another bowl of the limey bastard today. Smoked it slower and packed the bowl tighter, had fewer problems with keeping it lit. very nice blend, can't yet clearly decipher the tastes but it makes my smoking patio smell very nice for hours afterwards.
