Ok all, heading out for five days of nothing but sand and water, I need some opinions on what cigars to take along. I am definately taking a few AJ Fernandez seconds to smoke on the beach so if I drop it or something happens it doesn't ruin my day. At night however I need something a little more serious, I was thinking about a few Liga Privadas that I have in the humi along with maybe a San Lotano or perhaps a Tatuaje La Riqueza. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks guys.

I suggest you take some smaller smokes. I've found it much easier to find the time for a petit corona or petit robusto while on vacation. Tat PCRs and KB1 are perfect.

Sounds like you got it figured out. Any chance you'll be with a newb that might want to share one with you? Take some of your 'mehs', just in case.

haha no newbs will be with me, everyone else going doesn't smoke unfortunately, well except for the one time my girlfriend decided to try a 5 vegas Gold I had. Luckily for me I never intended on smoking it because it't a little dry for my taste so I wasn't upset when she decided to chuck it after a few puffs haha. I will agree with Stockton on the smaller stogies, that is a good idea. Guess I will pack a couple Diesel Shorties along for the ride or maybe just go out and buy a couple short sticks.

Well I definately won't be coming back with any extra, I can't seem to find a decent cigar shop within 50 miles of the hotel we are staying in. Luckily for me, I have a couple Herfadors to keep my stogies nice and fresh. Hopefully I can find some time tomorrow to head to the local B&M store and pick up some true gems to make the vacation extra special. Nothing like having a rare cigar in a place as beautiful as the beach.

Kyle, I think I am going to give you a special pack of cigars for your trip, tomorrow at work. Some smaller, tasty cigars that will allow you to smoke whenever and wherever.

I think that will more than get me around town man. I appreciate it, it's all good though, I've been looking around for the right something to get you for your birthday, guess I gotta up the ante now haha.

Yeah, I second what everyone else is saying. When I go on vacation with my family, I generally take several PCs and maybe one or two full-size sticks. It's just hard to find the time to squeeze in a full-size cigar when you're really there to spend time with others who don't smoke. Then again, just in case...

Here's what I'd pack if I had a 10-ct Herf-a-Dor on Vacation:
For the little maduros:
-Papas Fritas
-Illusione R
-7-20-4 Dogwalker
-Baitfish
For the little CCs:
-Party Short
-Boli PC
-RASCC
-SCdlH El Principe
And then for the full-size:
-PSD4
-Liga No.9
...both cigars that will never let you down, but that are regular release and won't kill you if for whatever reason you don't get to finish.
