Cornell & Diehl Morning Drive Time in my Grabow. This blend pairs so well with a cappuccino.

Yep. I just finished off a tin and I'll probably switch to something different next....either deluxe navy rolls, royal yacht, or Peterson Hyde park. I've been wanting to try Sam Gawith 1792 flake too!
That Peterson's Hyde Park is really good stuff! One of my favs.

McClelland Beacon Extra from a 2010 tin in a Nording Panel Billiard. Smells like straight ketchup in the jar, but smokes very well with a big Perique pepper punch, but with a nice fruity sweetness as well.

Peterson Hyde Park with thanks to Ciggy. I liked it....that Lakeland essence / flavor is very unique, very good!

Hey Rick...I have yet to try my tin of this. You didn't break it down at all? Just stuffed it in? How did it burn that way? Sorry for all the questions but I have yet to smoke any baccy rolls.

Hi Tom

I kind of overlapped the coins slightly then folded it into a plug, then stuffed it it the pipe...I watched some dude on YouTube do it this way. It actually burned pretty good. Next time, I'm going to try and break the coins apart to see if that changes the flavor profile...

On a separate note...I'm coming down with a slight case of TAD, just ordered some 1792 flake, Ennerdale, Elizabethan mix, and more Nightcap! I've been taking a break from my nightly Faustos and hitting the briar lately!

McClelland Ringlow Syrian Reserve in a Savinelli Duca Carlo. Red wine fruitiness, burning campfire notes...mild & tasty!

Following up with a bowl of Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake in my Nording. It comes sopping wet in the tin, it's a pain in the ass to prepare, it packs unevenly, but damn it tastes good! :)

had some carter hall tonight in a cob. was delicious for the first half but the second half went bitter. I still smoke too quickly in fear of having to relight very often. approximately how often do you guys puff? does the one puff/minute rule apply to pipes as well or is it quicker?

No shame in relighting brother. Will actually change the profile much less to none, as where puffing to much will change the profile. Relight if you have to its your pipe experience enjoy it, don't worry to much about technique that will come!

still working on handling my 'smoking ego', as it were, and not getting frustrated when I have to relight yet again. thanks for the advice!
