Boss Cigars... (Advisory to Stay Away From Them)

I saw them originally on Instagram awhile ago and wanted to get a couple just because they look cool and I was honestly hoping they would be good.

So I contacted the owner, who was extremely small at the time, asking if I could buy tell to try out and give to my local B&M to test out to see if he wanted to carry them.

I was told it would be a few weeks until I could so I waited patiently until I saw a post where he was selling five packs and a polo for $80 or something. I told him I didn't want the polo just to buy the cigars but it was a no go and I was told to wait another week for their website to open.

Essentially after the time had passed the website still wasn't up and he was still posting pictures of all the cigars he had ready. This pissed me off so I politely asked what the deal was when other people were getting them but I was not getting responded to.

I never got a response back so out of just frustration I sent him one more email telling him that I wouldn't be buying any whenever they get their stuff together, I wished him all the luck hope he learns to treat potential customers better. Of course after that email he responded IMMEDIATELY with a bunch of excuses etc..


Basically I'm just venting on here lol and giving a warning to stay away from them. Terrible service and attitudes. They think they are the shit.. Lol

D-Boy, are you a purchaser for your B&M?

The statement you made regarding wanting to buy some, and give to your B&M to try, would have been a little fishy to me (personally). Maybe they thought you were looking around for freebies? I imagine his intention to sell a packaged deal (smokes+shirt) was to push marketing, as a new company. If you weren't part of that plan, then he probably wanted to push that product out first before breaking bundles up and selling just 5'rs.

Just sayin man. I don't know what it takes to start up a small cigar company, but I imagine its like a chess game, and that everything you do is strategic.

Hopefully the guy isn't really a Douche-bag though. Sorry to hear you were treated like that.

I'm just a cigar lover lol and I give my local B&M advice on what to get. For example I just got him to email Viaje and carry them. I made it clear though that I was interested in buying then myself to try and if I liked them id get a box rather than buying a box of shit. I just mentioned the B&M thing because I was actually trying to be helpful to him.

Also just go to his website lol I think it's bosscigars.com and judge the douchebagness*? For yourself based on the pictures lol.

I wasn't badgering him. I sent him emails and responded to them over a period of time. Not like I sent 15 emails in one week lol.
