I like them both... but prefer the IR over the HE...

Cant really go wrong with either one though... both very popular sticks.. that for the most part seem to be liked by just about everyone that smokes them...

HE, because IMO, its head and shoulders above, but I just didn't see the what the R was all about, didn't do it for me, good thing we'll never run out of choices!

Well the HE is great but I haven't had the Illusione R yet. I think with the price point and the feed back I've heard I would go with the R.

Man, that is a hard choice, I mean you can find Illusione R for just over $3 and they are fantastic ROTT but I have some HE that I have had since last Nov and they are just phenomenal now. Considering the cost difference I would go Illusione R just because I am cost conscious right now but if you have the funds, I would go for HE.

I bought a box of HE right when they came out and love them, getting better every day, but I haven't tried the R yet
