I'm not picky, I had the original xbox, then I got a 360. My fiancée got a wii for Christmas when it came out, then I got a ps3 for my birthday a few years ago. I like them all, I plan on acquiring them all at one point, it is just a matter of which one first (don't know about the WiiU though) I'm not trying to start anything, or an argument. I'm not into fanboyism, I think it is all subconsciously rooted in jealousy about not having or being able to have all consoles. If money was no object, I think everyone would have all of them and everyone would be happy.
Microsoft totally backpedaled and took care of all of the issues that people were upset about. The always on, the used/sharing games, the kinect. I think that having the kinect with every xbox is a great idea. It is an incredible piece of technology, and by making sure everybody has one, it will inspire developers to come up with awesome ways to use it. Last time not everyone had it so they were afraid to spend time on features knowing only part of the people buying the game could use it. For the people that have privacy concerns with the kinect, there is a very inexpensive solution - an empty Kleenex box
I definitely want to get a PS4, that thing looks incredible too, If I don't spring for a day one xbox, I will have to figure out which one I want first
