The new XBox looks pretty incredible. Anyone planning on getting it? Just the NFL options and entertainment capabilities alone would seem to make it worth it. It even lets you split your TV between Games, Music/Movies/Internet and TV all at once. Probably going to be hard to get when it first comes out I suppose so I guess I will be standing in line If I do decide I want one. Suggestions on the best store to go to?

I would suggest pre-ordering one, you can get more info here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/pre-order-xbox-one/retailers and If you don't want to prepay the whole amount, I think best buy should be opening up in-store preorders soon, where you can pay what you want, then the balance when you pick it up.

I almost pre-ordered it, I really want to get a day one edition, but my AT&T contract expires on the 20th, and I need to get an iphone 5S for my company, so maybe I don't want to spend over $1K in the same week :disappoin

Nope. Getting the PS4 instead.

Always been an Xbox guy. Refused to get a PS3. Still have my 360. But, I'm abandoning ship. Microsoft dropped the ball on this big time.

It seems cool with all the new technology but also a little scary with all the crap they threw along with it. Like....it's always on. The whole privacy issues that come with that, the fact That you can't play old games ect.....oh and the must have had Internet on your last connection.....it seems like it might be a good idea (at least in my head) to wait and see what happens and how the bugs are worked out. I know some of theses issues have been pinpointed and resolved and don't get me wrong I'm a die hard Xbox supporter. I think I'll wait a bit...

Haven't decided if I'm getting the new xbox or ps4, i don't plan on getting one at launch so i'm waiting to see how they are once released

I did think this was a funny ps4 commercial making light of the whole XBox game issue when it was announced

I'm not picky, I had the original xbox, then I got a 360. My fiancée got a wii for Christmas when it came out, then I got a ps3 for my birthday a few years ago. I like them all, I plan on acquiring them all at one point, it is just a matter of which one first (don't know about the WiiU though) I'm not trying to start anything, or an argument. I'm not into fanboyism, I think it is all subconsciously rooted in jealousy about not having or being able to have all consoles. If money was no object, I think everyone would have all of them and everyone would be happy.

Microsoft totally backpedaled and took care of all of the issues that people were upset about. The always on, the used/sharing games, the kinect. I think that having the kinect with every xbox is a great idea. It is an incredible piece of technology, and by making sure everybody has one, it will inspire developers to come up with awesome ways to use it. Last time not everyone had it so they were afraid to spend time on features knowing only part of the people buying the game could use it. For the people that have privacy concerns with the kinect, there is a very inexpensive solution - an empty Kleenex box

I definitely want to get a PS4, that thing looks incredible too, If I don't spring for a day one xbox, I will have to figure out which one I want first

I would never have them all... XBox controllers are about as poor of a design as a bucket of sphincters!!! I've always hated xbox controllers...

Ugh the original xbox controllers were horrible! Maybe it is just because I've used the xbox 360 a little longer than the PS3, but I find the PS3 controller analog sticks very loose, and the way they are concave make my fingers slip off the side in "intense gaming moments"

Not a lot of people (other than media) has held either of the new controllers, so I'm not sure how the new ones will feel, but I think a combination of both 360 and PS3 would be ideal.

It's a preference because I think it's the best controller out there. Lol
Same here. In fact, I believe that is the first time I have ever heard someone bash the 360 controller. Either there's some serious biases going on, or our hands are a completely different geometry. Lol

I had the Xbox one preordered but ended up canceling it. There's no good games coming out at launch for either system in my opinion. Well no games good enough to warrant buying the new system.

Once The Division and Destiny come out, then I'll get serious about making up my mind. I'm not too big of a fan of how Microsoft handled themselves, I understand what they were trying to do and why, but I didn't care for the way they treated the fallout, they rectified almost everything, but seemed snarky and bitter the whole time. That major Nelson guy has been a mega huge douche this entire time in my opinion.

I will never again buy a day 1 console. They all have bugs there are always issues they can't be upgraded with the next gen. And that goes for both consoles.

I'm an Xbox guy yes yes PS is superior this and that blah blah blah. It's all the same shit. The parts and experiences are all pretty much the same. Controllers are different that's about all I've got.

I just know that a day 1 console I've made that mistake enough times as a kid and teenager but I'm not making that mistake again.
